All About Partial Wraps - Truck Edition

Car Wrap City is often asked, “when you say partial wrap, what exactly do you mean?” We answer that a “partial” is any wrap that does not cover the entire vehicle. The next question usually is something along the lines of, “well, how much does a partial cost?” The coverage amount of a partial can differ greatly based on the square footage of material used, which means we can’t set a specific price. So, long story short…the price of a partial depends on your vehicle size, the type of vinyl used and the amount of coverage you choose. The best way to get an idea of cost is to request a quote for both full coverage and partial coverage and then compare the two. If you are looking for ways to save, ask! There are options, like excluding the roof for example, that can save on square footage and lower your costs.

Here are a few of the recent partials we’ve done to give you a visual of what you can achieve with half the amount of vinyl:

The “Mr. QuickPick” wrap includes vinyl coverage on the tailgate as well as decals on the doors of this Chevrolet Silverado using 3M vinyl wrap material.

For the partial wrap on Happy Tub’s 2014 Dodge Ram they chose to cover the sides as well as made use of the space offered by the topper! This is a great creative use of their mobile “real estate” for marketing.

We love to see client businesses growing! This Ford F450’s partial wrap is another addition to the Big Daddy fleet using Avery Dennison vinyl wrap material.
